Crokinole Tourney

Hey there Yal, I hope that you are having a great day! so this week @ youth is our annual bridging the gap crokinole tourney and it is going to be awesome so plan on coming. This is where the 55+ and the youth team up in a crokinole battle for their name on the trophy. It is lots of fun and good relationships with young and old are made. Their also snacks and stuff, and so we really look forward to seeing you there. 7 PM @ the EMM Church Basement.

GYM NIGHT

Hey there everybody, I hope that you are having a great day. We are doing games this week and I have rented a school, we will be meeting @ Parkside school and having a gym night. it is still a 7:30 PM Start – it is going to be awesome and we look forward to seeing you there.

Tobogganing

The plan is to stay with the tobogganing idea, make a sled bring a sled whatever you want and we are going to have fun at the hill. bring your skates as well if you want for skating on the pond. prizes for the most creative sleds. Meet at the nature Pond @ 7:30 PM.

Sweet, we are having a Bible Study. It is going to be great and DA BAND will be playing. We are looking forward to seeing you all there.

Bible Jeopardy

Hey there Yal, welcome back - Youth is starting up this week. YAY. we are going to be playing bible jeopardy this week at youth - it is so going to be lots of fun so come and bring your friends. we miss you guys and look forward to seeing you @ the hub on WED. sweet.

Parent Teenagers - Coarse for parents

Hey there yal, so we have a parenting course coming up and it is going to to happening at our youth building (71 4th Ave. NE). This is a course put out by Alpha on parenting teenagers and will be led by pastor Ben and Cindy Klassen. It should be a very good course with lots of practical ideas, so do plan on attending and invite other parents of teenagers that you know.

Course - for those parenting
11-18 year olds. A five week course beginning on January 16 (will be running every Monday for 5 weeks) @ 7 PM @ the Hub.
Topics will include: teenagers' needs/ setting boundaries/ building the relationship/ helping our teenagers make good choices/ looking to the future. Cost $ 6 per person (to cover books).
