crokinole Tourney

Hey there everyone, we are having our annual bridging the gap crokinole tourney this Wednesday. We have 55+ and youth team up for an awesome time of crokinole. It is always fun, there is good food and prizes. 7 PM @ the EMMC church basement. Bring a friend and crokinole board if you have. 

Bible Study

Continuing on our healthy sexuality/relationships study.
Music with Da Band, offering for Obed, snacks, small group time and fun! Bring a friend! 7 PM @ the hub.

Youth Tonight - CHANGE

Due to it being kind of miserable outside, we will not be going to the hill tonight but will rather be meeting @ the EMMC Church basement. We will be playing games, having fun, and of course it wont be cold. SEE YOU AT 7 PM.

Info on MEXICO mission trip

Here is some info on the Mexico mission trip that will be happening this summer. We will be bring out the applications next week, so hopefully this helps to answer some of the questions that you maybe having.

Why Mexico (Acuna)

·         I learnt about this opportunity from a friend and I just love the intentionality of this organization. We will be working with the local church how will be doing follow up after we leave. We will be involved in VBS, Sports ministry, Church services, children’s ministry.

·         I trust the work they do.

·         There is so need in Mexico.

Leadership.

·         My youth leaders will be the chaperones, and the plan is that my wife will be coming as well. As well as I would be open to some parents coming.

Cost.

·         We are going to be raising $1000.00/person

·         $300.00 will be raised by the individual and this will be done by personal fundraiser, asking for support, and or paying self.

·         The rest will be covered by group fundraising and this church.

·         Cost will include travel, hotels, food, travel insurance.

Date.

·         July 10-21 - 2015

Travel

·         We are hiring a bus, it is a grey hound style bus.

Sleeping arrangement.

·         We will be staying in dormitory style buildings, at a church camp compound.

·         Guys and girls will be separate.

Youth is BACK

Hey there everyone, youth is starting up this week!!! We have missed you all and I hope you really enjoyed your Christmas break!!! We will be having a games night this week, meet @ the hub @ 7 PM!!! Going to be awesome!!! See you on Wednesday!!

No youth till after Christmas

I want to wish you all a merry Christmas, enjoy the holidays and time with family and friends. Just a reminder that there will be no youth till after Christmas. 

Christmas party - tonight

Theme: Famous Duo/Group 
Dress up as your favorite duo/group, games, prizes, food.

for example of famous pairs it could look like this:

- Elsa & Anna, Bob & Larry

- Teenage mutant ninja turtles, back street boys

- If someone doesn't have a group or pair - dress up like ketchup and bring bottle of mustard, or Dorothy and bring stuffed dog for Toto, etc.
