Merry Christmas

So we had our Christmas party yesterday, and had a great time. There will be no youth till January and so I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and happy new year.

Bible Study

Mall Hunt

Join us as we head out to the St. Vital mall in Winnipeg. Your mission? To find people in disguise. You will be given a list of ppl to find that are wandering around the mall in the designated time frame. Bring $5 for gas and $$ for food. Meet at the Hub at 5:15 p.m. Bus leaves at 5:30 p.m. sharp. Back around 9:30-10 p.m.

Movie/Candy Potluck

Join us for a movie at the Hub with candy galore!! Please bring a bag of candy to share with everyone.  Bring a friend. :)

Bible Study

Hey there Everyone, I hope you are having a great day!! We will be having a bible study this week, Da Band will be playing, we will be continuing our study on the armor of God, and having discussion in small groups. It is going to be great and I look forward to seeing you there, tomorrow @ 7 PM.

Treasured Foundation

So Treasured Foundation is coming up in a hurry, yay!!!! It is going to be awesome, and if you are humming and hawing about whether or not to come – then STOP!!! It is going to be awesome and you will not regret it. You are going to meet people, encounter God, serve people and have a lot of fun. So click on the link and print and fill out the application. I will also have some available at youth on Wednesday. I don’t need payment yet unless you are planning on doing NO fundraising, then the cost is $300.00 and that includes the transportation. Faith and Football

This week we are going to be having a night of testimony. We are having a couple of Bomber players coming out and will be sharing their faith with us. There is going to be great music and also a great time hearing the stories of these players. 7 PM @ the Altona Bergthler Church.

Food Drive

This week is the food drive, come to the hub @ 6:30 PM and we will be going around town and collecting food for the Altona food bank. I look forward to see you there. Pick-up will be around 9:30 PM @ the MB Church.

Fundraiser

We are currently doing a fundraiser to help with the cost of TF, we are selling New Bothwell Cheese. So if you are interested in selling, now is the time. Due date is Oct. 16 - let me know if you have any questions.

Treasured Foundation

So if any of you are wondering what Treasured Foundation (TF) is, I will give a brief idea.

TF is put on by the EMMC Conference and is a youth event for all the EMMC churches. We meet @ the hub and take chartered buses to Minneapolis, we stay in a hotel, we have times of worship, mini-sessions, service opportunities, fun in the hotel and even make a trip to the mall of america. It is a great time for deeper growth and spiritual renewal.

Treasured Foundation will be happening from December 28, 2013 - January 1, 2014.
Cost: $300 (there is some chances to do fundraising to lower the cost).

Bible Study

Sharing/hang out time

This will consist of some games, music, devotional, chance for sharing, and sometime in small groups. IT IS GOING TO BE AWESOME!!! Wednesday @ 7 @ the Hub.

Senior youth Kick-Off

Youth is back and are going to be playing a town wide monopoly game. It is going to be AWESOME!!! So meet @ the hub on Wednesday, September 18th @ 7 PM. SWEET, we will see you there.

Games in the Park

Hey there everyone, I hope that you are having a great day!!! We seem to be done with the rain and now we can once again see the sun!!! We will be at the park tomorrow night meet near the tennis courts for a games night, it is going to be awesome, see you there 7 PM @ the park.

Bible Study - relationships

So we are going to be starting a new Bible Study series this week. It is going to be awesome, we are talking on relationships/sexuality and what do healthy relationship look like? We are going to be doing interviews and it is going to be very interactive and fun. DA BAND will be playing as well and I look forward to seeing you there tomorrow!!!! 7 PM @ the hub.

Gym Night

So I hope you are all having a great day!! Tomorrow is a fun night – we are going to the parkside school gym!!! Start will be 7:30 PM due to other rentals. It is going to be awesome fun so invite your friends and we will see you at parkside tomorrow!!

Steinbach Aquatic Center

Hey there everyone, I hope that you are having a great day!! This week we are going to the Steinbach aquatic centre and will be spending the evening in the pool. We will also be stopping @ Dairy Queen afterward.  So here are the details that you need to know:

We want to leave by 5:30 PM so be a little early!!

Cost is $10 – this includes your pool pass and gas for the bus but you may want to bring extra money for Dairy Queen afterward.

Pick up will be 11PM ish. The ish means this is an approximate and we could be back slightly earlier or later.

No bikini’s or speedo’s please and t-shirts are not allowed in the pool.

Crokinole Tourney

Hey there everybody, this week is the annual bridging the gap crokinole tourney and it is going to be awesome!! We get teamed up with a senior and compete for the trophy and prizes and just a reminder that it is happening on Thursday @ the EMMC Church basement @ 7 PM. SEE YOU THERE!!

Hey there Everyone, I hope that you are having a great day! So here are few thing that are coming up that you should keep in mind. 

Feb. 9 - Winter Carnival - there is a youth event on Saturday evening it is going to be AWESOME!! There is going to be a huge game of capture the flag, indoor games, and music. Start time is 7 PM @ the MEC. 

Feb. 13 - tobogganing - that is next week Wednesday - Prizes for best and most creative sleds. Going to be awesome.
